Consulting Service Includes:

• 2 hours remote via video call WhatsApp 
• Visual Koi and pond assessment
• Advise how to safely sedate any koi requiring treatment/diagnosis 
• Guidance on how to successfully obtain a koi scrape and find parasites using your own microscope 
• Advice on water parameters check with your own equipment 
• Review of filtration efficiency and advice
• Check of UV and water clarity problems such as algae
• Advice on feeding (food quality, quantity and feeding times)
• Help you accurately measure your pond volume
• Advice on the application of any any required medication to treat illness/parasites 
• Guidance on the removal of necrotic tissue, the use of soothing and healing applications of cream/antiseptic to wounds and sealing wounds with propolis
• Advice on water changes and purge/clean of filter media

Throughout the consultation period, we aim to impart as much knowledge to you so that you can be self sufficient in the future. Be prepared to carry out tasks yourself under our guidance so that you learn!!

Please note, it will help you immensely if you purchase the following items BEFORE the agreed consultation date:

1. Formalin & Malachite Green Treatment (Kusuri is a good brand)  (if you also have Rudd, Orfe or Sturgeon then just Malachite Green on its own)
2. Fluke Solve Plus (if you also have Rudd, Orfe or Sturgeon then Fluke Solve (non-Plus)
3. Water testing strips or drops
4. Salinity meter (cheap ones on Amazon also check PH and Total Dissolved Solids TDS)
5. Pond Salt
6. Microscope and slides
7. Small bottle of “Propolis” and “Koi Calm”
8. ORP Meter
