Koi / Pond Shower - Combo Bakki and Sieve Showers

Introducing our innovative solution for achieving crystal-clear pond water, specifically tested for Koi. All HH Aquatics showers are expertly designed to complement existing mechanical filtration systems, including multi-bay filters, box and pressurised filters, as well as the EazyPod and Nexus systems. These showers serve as an effective biological stage in the filtration process, ideally positioned after either an EazyPod or multi-bay setup. They offer a more affordable alternative to traditional Bakki showers, delivering superior results along with enhanced features.

Many koi enthusiasts search for that elusive "polished" water effect, often finding themselves faced with products that can cost several hundred to thousands of pounds. Our mission is to provide cost-effective solutions that make the Koi hobby accessible to everyone, regardless of budget. By utilising off-the-shelf components, we significantly reduce manufacturing costs, and our entire in-house production process is powered by renewable solar energy.

The shower features a 1.5" inlet, a multi-holed shower bar, and a 1.5" outlet. It can be connected using flexible hose or standard 40mm solvent weld pipe. To accommodate future expansion, there's a removable close-cap that allows for daisy-chaining multiple showers together.

During our development phase, we conducted rigorous controlled experiments under strict parameters and varying environmental conditions. We evaluated over 20 different scenarios and determined the optimal configuration for effectively managing ammonia, nitrite, and nitrate levels. A freshly set-up premium large shower out of the box (initiated with filter start gel) began showing a measurable impact on ammonia, nitrite, and nitrate (A/N/N) levels within just 25 days. By day 50, the average reduction in A/N/N in our test pond was between 30% and 50%. Additionally, we observed a consistent 2.34% decrease in Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) and a 15.02% improvement in Oxidation Reduction Potential (ORP). While our primary goal was to reduce A/N/N levels, the enhancement of TDS and ORP was an exciting bonus.
